A Properties of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Fly Ash (IFA) And Cement Used in The Manufacturing of New Inventive Blended Cement

Municipal solid waste incinerator fly (IFA) ash is prone to accumulate high concentration heavy metals. Due the increasing costs treat remaining at landfill, a lot of research has been done recycle IFA. This studywas focusing on properties IFA and cement as main raw materials in new inventive blended cement. The were also being investigated. Properties examined through several test which includes density, specific gravity, X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), Loss Ignition (LOI) Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) test. density LOI for From tests cement, it can be found that cementthat used this study 0.76 g/cm3and 3.67 g/cm3respectively. Then, gravity cementwere 1.69 2.98, accordingly. XRF results shows both materialshave highest content aluminium, silicaand iron, expected. 17.33 % 12.33 %, respectively.In terms leaching rates metals (Mn, Ni, Cd, Cr, Cu), only Cd leached rate 2.39 mg/L, above USEPA's regulatorylevel, 1.0 mg/L. 5 10 15 was mixed with produced As 1.12 g/cm3, 1.08 1.09 g/cm3for each blendedcement.
